Nathalie Applewhite

Nathalie Applewhite is the associate director of the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, a non-profit journalism organization that seeks to increase international reporting in the American media. Before joining the Pulitzer Center, Applewhite worked on documentary, educational, political and commercial productions as a producer, director, and editor. She also has worked as a consultant for the United Nations and as a media specialist for the University of Pennsylvania. Her documentary Picture Me an Enemy, about two young women from the former Yugoslavia, won several awards, and was nominated for a regional Emmy.
