Mila Aung-Thiwn

Mila Aung-Thiwn is a Montreal-based director/producer. After completing his studies at McGill University, he learned filmmaking on the streets by working with maverick filmmaker Daniel Cross on S.P.I.T: SQUEEGEE PUNKS IN TRAFFIC. Together, they co-founded the production company EyeSteelFilm, which specializes in social-activist documentary films and new media. He produced UP THE YANGTZE, which will be screened at SILVERDOCS.
